The Pathways Quality Management System provides a number of verifying processes that prevents the likelihood of an error occurring. If there has been a processing error, in most cases it can be corrected within 24 hours.
Whom do I contact if I need help?Your Pathways contact is always there to assist with any enquiries that you may have. If they are unavailable, one of our other trained staff will be able to assist you with your needs.
Who pays for the services provided by Pathways?It is against the law for any employment agency to charge people to find work for them. Clients, who commission the recruitment and outplacement services, pay a service fee. For labour hire and temporary staff placements, the service fee is included in the hourly rate.
Does Pathways have an accredited Quality Management System?Yes! Pathways gained ISO 9001:2000 certification for its Quality Management System with Benchmark Certification in May 2002.
This ensures that there are specific systems in place to guarantee that service standards are consistently high.
How can I request another timesheet?If you are using the services of a Pathways employee, you can download a new timesheet from this website. If you are already a registered user, simply login and the timesheet is available for downloading.
If you are not a registered user, register by accessing the For The Employer page and follow the Register prompt. Then simply login and the timesheet is available for downloading.
Alternatively, either the employee or yourself can contact Pathways during business hours on 4960 8555 for a replacement timesheet.
Both the employee and the client must sign the timesheet before being submitted to Pathways by 10am Monday for processing.
Is Pathways a member of the industry peak body RCSA?Pathways has been a corporate member of the Recruiting and Consulting Services Association for several years.
Pathways upholds and abides by the standards and ethics that membership imposes.
Who is the employer of temporary staff supplied to our clients?Pathways is the “direct employer” of temporary staff and the client is the “host employer.”
Both parties have certain legal responsibilities according to state and federal legislation.
All temporary staff should always contact Pathways first in relation to any queries that they may have regarding the terms and conditions of their employment.
Human nature being what it is, often the Pathways employee will raise queries with their host employer, please feel free to refer any employee enquiries to Pathways.
Who is responsible for paying PAYG, GST and other statutory costs such as workers compensation and the superannuation contribution?As the “direct employer” Pathways is responsible for paying the statutory liabilities that include workers compensation, superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG. For labour hire and temporary staff placements, these government costs are included in the hourly rate.
